Good Vibes Dog Grooming

Welcome! I’m Kathryn, the owner and sole groomer at Good Vibes Dog Grooming. I’ve been a dog person since birth, growing up with four and sometimes even five furry family members! I distinctly remember our dogs going to the groomer and returning smelling so good and looking so cute with little scarves around their necks. We had dogs from Shih Tzus, to Jack Russells, to Doberman’s and I took it upon myself to take care of them between their professional grooming sessions.

While I thought I wanted to be a doctor, and even began medical school, I realized medicine wasn’t for me. After a little bit of panic, I realized that there was one thing I’d been sure of my entire life, that I loved dogs. So, I took a leap of faith and began as a bather in 2019, a groomer in 2020 and established Good Vibes Dog Grooming in 2022.

Caring for dogs is my passion, my life source, and it’s a dream come true to care for them. I strive to provide dogs with services in a chill, mellow, happy and loving environment. Good Vibes all the way! My clients and their dogs become part of my pack which includes my dogs, Sophie and Samuel who are both Jack Russell Terriers.

I have a strong foundation in canine anatomy and physiology, intuitive handling and advanced grooming techniques. As a lifelong learner, I am constantly working to perfect my skills and learn new techniques, through continuing education. I’m currently expanding my knowledge earning my Canine Esthetician and Bodywork certifications to provide a truly holistic, feel-good experience mirroring the approach I take in my personal life.
